Part-time Associate Dentist

Connections Dental is a busy, private practice office in the heart of Oakmont, PA. The modern office uses technology such as CBCT, digital scanners, and a DEKA CO2 laser to offer patients the best care possible. A dentist with a positive attitude and willingness to be a team player will fit well in this office. Preferred hours: Fridays 8:30-2 and Saturdays 8:30-2.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients
  • Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record system
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile dental environment
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
  • Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
  • Valid state dental license in good standing
  • Proficient in medical terminology and dental procedures
  • Ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Experience with endo preferred
  • Experience using Open Dental preferred but will train as needed
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
